Australian International Hotel School

The Australian International Hotel School (AIHS) is a statutory authority of the ACT Government offering degrees in management for the hospitality industry.

The AIHS [External Link] is a 'not for profit' professional management school established by the Australian Capital Territory Government in 1995.

The School offers internationally recognised degrees at Bachelors level and is committed to the delivery of high quality management education through a unique and appropriate balance of generic management education with a specific hospitality focus.

The Bachelor of Business (Hotel Management) degree, completed in just three years combines academic study and training experiences in the AIHS' commercially operated Hotel Kurrajong and two further paid industry placements.

Affiliated with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, the AIHS' Degree provides students with the unique opportunity to study, work, travel and earn money.

The course is full fee paying, with the cost of fees offset by paid industry placements during the course.

The AIHS is accepting applications for September 2004 and February 2005 and offers A$10,000 scholarships to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and leadership qualities.

The School is truly international with students from over 38 different countries having studied at the institution since its inception in 1995. A career starting at the AIHS is the 'best decision you'll ever make.'
